Body By Ford now offers small group strength training!
Today, we are excited to introduce you to Keith Gross, our newest trainer at BXF, and share the news that small-group training sessions are starting this week!
Keith has been involved in the fitness industry for over a decade and is excited to bring his experience to BXF. His love of fitness began in high school with weight training and competitive cheerleading. In college, he worked with top-certified strength and conditioning coaches who taught the importance of nutrition, motivation, and a well-organized (but fun) training program. Keith believes getting in shape should be an entertaining, results-forward experience that keeps you coming back for more! His energy and enthusiasm bring an element of fun to every workout and promises to keep our small-group sessions both results-oriented and entertaining.
Small-group training at BXF has been a long time in the making, and we’re happy to have all the pieces in place to offer a truly fantastic experience for our clients.
We love working with people one on one to provide individualized feedback, progress monitoring, and goal setting to help people build strength and transform their bodies. Now we can bring that same commitment to personalization and results to more people. You can also download the BXF app to make planning and scheduling your sessions easier than ever.
Here are just a few things that we think set BXF’s small-group training apart:
Focus on resistance training. Many group classes focus on cardio, but BXF takes a different approach. We go on and on about the benefits of weight lifting–that’s because it’s the fastest way to build strength, improve your posture, and reshape your body. It also has a range of benefits for your health, from improving bone density to reducing the risk of injuries.
Personal attention. Our small class sizes allow for personalized instruction from the trainer. People sometimes avoid resistance training because they are unsure about proper form and worried they’ll get injured, or because they’ve had an injury in the past. This is something we try to address with our training. Whether it’s 1:1 or in a small-group session, BXF trainers work with you to give you the individualized feedback you need to build strength, smartly, safely, and effectively.
Progress Monitoring. Working in small groups rather than large group classes of 20 or 30 people means that we can work directly with clients where they are on a session-by-session basis. Progress monitoring is not going to be part of most large group training sessions, but we believe it’s a big part of progressing safely and seeing real results.
